Mussie was found dead near Hazel Hotel Direct Provision Centre in Kildare on Tuesday 26th March 2019 in what has been described as a 'personal tragedy'.

The man, who is believed to have been from Eritrea, had been living at the centre for a number of months before his death, it's reported.

​

A woman living in the centre said residents were feeling “traumatised” by the man’s death and would benefit from speaking to counsellors about the incident.
